New series announcement!

Completing my first series was a true milestone for me. I never imagined that I would get to write a comic, let alone an entire miniseries. I feel truly honored and blessed to be able to create something, as dark as it may be. Now, it's time for something new.

The Aeonian is a new challenge for me, but one that I have looked forward to for a long time. It is an ongoing series that revolves around a mysterious man and his ability to stop time for those that dwell around him. Blending mythology, science fiction, and horror, this series is a tribute to many of stories that I grew up reading, as well as some of my favorite movies.

The first four issues will revolve around a family that is trying to figure out how to become ageless. They have the key, but can they open the door?

The image above was drawn by Stan Yak, and colored by Robert Nugent. We have worked together before, on the one shot comic The Last Heist, and in working with them I found a team of dedicated and talented humans who I enjoyed creating with. They will be working on the first 4 issue arc of Aeonian, along with Robin Jones on letters, whom I met on Twitter and who also worked on The Last Heist.

I will be launching a Kickstarter in January in order to allow my readers from all over to pre-order the comic, and will have a few special treats along the way. The book is already in colors, and we are moving along beautifully. My team is amazing!!

Lastly, I want to add that this story came from a dream I had a million lifetimes ago. The dream stuck with me and I knew that I had to find a way vomit it out on paper. The comic medium is perfectly suited to get across the feelings and images from this dream that has haunted me this long. I am truly excited to announce this series and to have such a fantastic group of people working on it with me.

I will be making sure to keep everyone updated through social media and my website as everything progresses, and as we get closer to the Kickstarter you be hearing more details about the series. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this, and for supporting my dream and indie comics.

Eternally Grateful,
Stefani Manard
